The farm shop
Our farm shop is located in the hangar, a place where local flavours and a warm, welcoming atmosphere come together. Here you'll find a wide selection of fresh fruit and vegetables, much of which comes straight from our own fields. We also supplement our range with delicious local produce from nearby.
Our own specialities, the Ambachtelijke Lukken and Ambachtelijke Spletters, also have pride of place here. These are lovingly prepared using local produce and have become real favourites with many of our customers.
As you enter, the shop window immediately catches your eye. Kristien ensures it evolves with the seasons and festive periods, with flowers, plants and decorations that create a warm atmosphere time and time again.
When you open the door, you're greeted by Kristien's smile. She's always happy to make time for a chat, lend a listening ear and help you with a smile. Whether you're popping in for your weekly shop, a local product to give as a gift, or just to have a look around, we try to make sure everyone feels welcome in our shop.
The greenhouse
In our greenhouse, you'll find a wide selection of home-grown, seasonal flowers and plants. We grow a variety of species throughout the year, so there's always something new to discover.
You'll find, among other things, our chrysanthemums, bedding plants, ornamental grasses and vegetable plants. Everything is grown with care and follows the rhythm of the seasons.
Whether you're looking for colour for your garden, plants for your patio or young vegetable plants to get started with yourself, you'll always find something in our greenhouse that suits the season.
The farm terrace
As well as our farm shop and conservatory, you can also take a seat on our farm terrace. At the cosy picnic tables, you can enjoy your purchases, surrounded by the countryside and the peace and quiet of the countryside.
It is the ideal spot to take a break during a cycle or walking tour. In the shop, you can pick up a drink, an ice cream or a little treat to enjoy here at your leisure.
We've thought of the children too: there's a play area where they can let off steam for a while.
On hot days, the parasols provide the necessary shade, so you can sit back in peace and enjoy the view.
Arrival
When you arrive, you'll first be greeted by the sign pointing the way to De Vredestuin. This way, you'll find your way straight away. There's also a spacious car park, so you can park easily.
As you follow the driveway downhill, you'll catch your first glimpse of our conservatory. A little further on, on the right-hand side of the car park, you'll find the barn where our farm shop is located.
So your visit to De Vredestuin begins the moment you arrive.
