This brown ale has aged for 1 year in oak barrels, where the beer absorbed a hint of port. The result is a nice balance between the spicy aroma of biscuits and the fruity aroma of port and oak. The full-bodied flavour is given extra depth by the subtle notes of oak and red fruit, perfect for quiet tasting.
